What are credits and how do they work?

Credits are the currency of Clyro. Each AI-powered edit you make uses credits. Here's everything you need to know about how they work.

What Are Credits?

Credits are units that represent AI processing power. When you ask Clyro to make a change to your store, we use advanced AI to understand your request, analyze your theme, and generate the necessary code. Each of these operations uses credits.

How Are Credits Used?

Different actions use different amounts of credits:

When Are Credits NOT Used?

Credits are only deducted when you successfully apply a change. You won't be charged for:

• •Previewing changes (before applying)
• •Canceling or discarding changes
• •Rolling back to a previous version
• •Viewing your edit history
• •Browsing the dashboard

Checking Your Credit Balance

Your current credit balance is always visible in the top navigation bar of your dashboard. Click on it to see:

• •Total credits remaining
• •Credits used this billing period
• •When your credits will renew
• •Option to purchase additional credits

What Happens When I Run Out?

If you run out of credits:

• •You can still access your dashboard and view your history
• •You can still roll back to previous versions
• •You won't be able to make new AI edits until you have more credits

To get more credits, you can either wait for your monthly renewal or purchase additional credits from the billing page.

Credit Renewal

Depending on your plan, your credits renew:

• •Monthly plans: Credits renew on your billing date each month
• •Annual plans: Credits renew monthly, even though you pay annually

Buying Extra Credits

Need more credits mid-month? You can purchase additional credit packs:

1. 1.Go to Settings then Billing
2. 2.Click "Buy More Credits"
3. 3.Select your desired credit pack
4. 4.Complete the purchase

Extra credits are added immediately and don't expire at the end of the month.
