Understanding your invoice

Your Clyro invoice contains all the details about your subscription charges. Here's how to read and understand each part.

Accessing Your Invoices

To view your invoices:

  1. 1.Go to your Clyro dashboard
  2. 2.Click Settings then Billing
  3. 3.Scroll to "Billing History"
  4. 4.Click on any invoice to view or download

Invoice Components

Header Information

  • Invoice Number: Unique identifier for this invoice
  • Invoice Date: When the invoice was generated
  • Due Date: When payment is due (usually same day for subscriptions)
  • Billing Period: The dates this charge covers

Line Items

Your invoice may include:

Clyro Pro, Monthly

Your subscription plan charge

Credit Pack (100 credits)

Any additional credits purchased

Proration Credit

Credit for plan changes mid-cycle

Discount, SAVE20

Any promotional discounts applied

Totals Section

  • Subtotal: Sum of all line items before tax
  • Tax: Applicable taxes (if any)
  • Total: Final amount charged
  • Amount Paid: Confirmation of payment received

Payment Methods

Your invoice will show the payment method used:

  • Credit card (last 4 digits shown)
  • PayPal
  • Other payment methods if applicable

Tax Information

Depending on your location, your invoice may include:

  • VAT (Europe): Value Added Tax at your country's rate
  • GST (Australia): Goods and Services Tax
  • Sales Tax (US): Based on your state

For business customers: If you need to add a VAT number or tax ID, go to Settings then Billing then Tax Information. This will be reflected on future invoices.

Common Invoice Scenarios

Plan Upgrade Mid-Cycle

When you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll see:

  • A credit for the unused portion of your old plan
  • A charge for the prorated cost of your new plan
  • The difference is what you pay

Annual Subscription

Annual invoices show:

  • The full year's charge upfront
  • Any annual discount applied
  • The billing period covering 12 months

Downloading Invoices

To download an invoice:

  1. 1.Go to Settings then Billing then Billing History
  2. 2.Find the invoice you need
  3. 3.Click "Download PDF"

You can also have invoices automatically emailed to you by enabling this in your billing settings.
