I opened Clyro to make one quick change and somehow spent 2 hours redesigning my entire store. No regrets.
David Park
@davidpark_dev
I'm a Shopify dev and I use Clyro to prototype themes before writing the final code. Honestly, most of the time the generated code is good enough to ship.
Rachel Kim
@rachelkim_cd
I told Clyro 'make it feel like Apple meets a cozy bookshop' and it actually understood what I meant. Try explaining that to a freelancer on Fiverr.
Tom Becker
@tombeckr
I described my brand in one sentence and Clyro nailed the vibe better than the $5k moodboard I paid for last year.
Sofia Marchetti
@sofiamarch
I've launched 3 seasonal storefronts this year. Last year I launched zero because I couldn't afford a designer.
Ben Foster
@benfoster_
Added a sticky add-to-cart bar in the time it takes to pull a pour-over. My conversion rate said thank you.
Marco Silva
@marcosilva
Three brands, three totally different looks, one afternoon. My agency used to bill that as a full quarter of work.
Zoe Adams
@zoeadams_
I asked for 'quiet luxury' and got exactly that. No 47-email thread with a designer required.
Nathan Cole
@nathancole
Even I could do it, and I still print my emails. If Clyro works for me, it works for anyone.

My developer charged me $200 to change a button color. With Clyro I did it in 10 seconds. I'm still mad about that $200.
Jessica Martinez
@jessmartinez
Black Friday prep used to be a 2-week panic with my agency. This year I updated every landing page myself in one afternoon.
Michael Chen
@mikechen_growth
Best part is the small stuff. Needed to swap my cart icon and add a sticky header. Took 30 seconds each. Would've been a $150 dev ticket.
Lena Vogel
@lenavogel
Changed my whole color palette twice before my coffee finished brewing. Would've been two dev tickets and a week of waiting.
Kevin Nguyen
@kevn_dev
The undo button saved my sanity. I broke my header, hit undo, and it was like it never happened. Try that with a freelancer.
Yuki Tanaka
@yukibuilds
I'm not technical and I built a store that looks like it cost $20k. My accountant is confused and delighted.
Hannah Weiss
@hannahw_shop
I redesigned my product page during a Zoom call I wasn't paying attention to. Best multitasking of my life.
Raj Patel
@rajpatel_biz
Swapped my entire hero section 4 times in an hour testing headlines. Free A/B ideas, basically.

I've never opened a code file in my life and I just shipped a custom theme. My developer friend is speechless.

I used to screenshot competitor stores and send them to my developer with 'make it look like this.' Now I just paste the screenshot into Clyro.
Alex Turner

I run 4 stores. Before Clyro, they all looked the same because customizing each one was too expensive. Now they all have their own identity.
Priya Nair
@priyabuilds
Told my agency I didn't need the monthly retainer anymore. The silence on that call was worth the subscription alone.
Darnell Ross
@darnellr
My theme finally matches my Instagram. Customers keep asking who designed it. It was me, at 11pm, in my pajamas.
Amara Okafor
@amaraok
I stopped explaining what I want and started showing it. Screenshot in, finished section out. Feels illegal.
Grace Bennett

Clyro understood 'make it feel like a Sunday morning' and I don't even fully understand what I meant by that.
Oliver Grant
@olivergrant
The generated code is clean enough that my actual developer stopped complaining. That's the real endorsement.

Fair. Here's everything you need to know.
Clyro is an AI theme builder for Shopify. Describe your store, like "a minimalist fashion boutique with dark aesthetic", and the AI creates a fully custom theme from scratch. You can refine it with follow-up messages like "add a FAQ section" or "change the colors to warm tones". Download the finished theme as a ZIP and upload to Shopify.
No. You just type what you want, like you're chatting. The AI handles all the code. If the result isn't quite right, just tell it what to change.
Each AI message costs credits based on complexity. A simple color change costs about 10-24 credits. Creating a new section costs 35-55 credits. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing cycle, and you can buy extra credits anytime.
Yes. Cancel from your settings page. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. No cancellation fees, no commitments.
Yes. Download your theme as a ZIP and upload it to Shopify through the admin panel (Online Store > Themes > Upload). The themes are standard Shopify 2.0 Liquid themes that work on any store.
Every change has an undo button. Click it and the files revert to exactly how they were before that edit. You can experiment freely without risk.
Yes. There's a built-in image generator powered by Gemini. You can create product photos, banners, and backgrounds, then refine them with follow-up prompts. Images use the same credit system.
Clyro uses the latest and most capable models from Anthropic, Google, and other leading AI providers. Lite runs on automatic model selection, where we pick the cheapest capable model for each task. Paid plans unlock the full model lineup, and Opus, our most powerful model, is available on Studio and Agency.
We are just kidding. (We are not)
